3 Steps to Use Riptide with D3 to Start Conversations

1. Turn DISPATCH = ON. By default, DISPATCH = OFF. When you turn DISPATCH = ON, D3 will start conversations for you with the Welcome message. With it off, D3 will only close conversations with the Goodbye message. We show you how at the end of this video or you can read how here.
2. Set Hours of Operation. By default, you are set to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When DISPATCH = ON, D3 will start conversations during your hours of operation. Set your hours of operation to when you actually have a dispatcher on call to respond to Members. You can read how here.
3. Watch for Member responses. Most Members won't respond. You've kept them informed with the Welcome message, and they appreciate that. For the 10% that do respond, Riptide will notify you and indicate that you need to follow-up by adding a green bar to the conversation. Tap on that conversation and reply to the Member as appropriate.
